  • Iznaga Tower framed by the arches of the Hacienda Ingenios, the former Manaca Iznaga Plantation owner’s house near Trinidad. The hacienda was built in 1835-1845 by Alejo María del Carmen e Iznaga, who was among one of the wealthiest sugar plantation owners in Cuba.

  • The speed and skill of potter, Azariel Santander Alcántara, is remarkable. Santander has continued the family tradition of pottery since 1862 in the town of Trinidad. Today each family member has his own workshop and each has achieved expertise. <br />
From one generation to another passed the secrets of working with clay on the wheel. Among the awards the Santander family has received was a UNESCO Special Award received in 2007, the Master Artisan.
