Galloping Goose #5

Galloping Goose #5 was one of only seven rail-buses built in the 1930s by the now extinct Rio Grande Southern, a railroad that traveled through Southwestern Colorado from Durango, CO to Ridgway, CO. They were used as a economic alternative to steam locomotives by transporting mail and some passengers between the small towns found along the RGS. http://www.gallopinggoose5.org/history/
